For Rick Thomas, public service has always been about people, community, and leaving things better than he found them. With more than 40 years of public service, including experience as a Police Chief, Mayor, and Town Council Member, Rick brings proven leadership and a practical understanding of local government to his campaign for Howey Town Council.

Rick and his wife, DeAnna, are proud to call Howey-in-the-Hills home. With three children, five grandchildren, and two French bulldogs (Stella and Tilly), family is at the heart of their lives—and one of the reasons Rick cares deeply about preserving the character and quality of life that make Howey special.
